December Detox Your Life | Day 3: Back to Basics With Your Health

Getting back to basicsIf you have been wondering how you can make a simple change in your life that will have a positive impact on your health, then Day 3’s tip is speaking to you.

JK Naturals was fortunate enough to get some expert advice on this from Dr. Igor Bobritskiy, a homeopath, naturopath, nutritional consultant with an MD background in pediatrics, and professional Bowenwork practitioner located in Livermore, California.

This is what Dr. Bobritskiy had to tell us:

I see people of all ages with very diverse health challenges, acute and chronic. I recommend only natural remedies and supplements to balance and repair my client’s health. I do see a lot of sick people, but my focus and preference has always been on prevention and life style correction. It is much easier to prevent health problems, than to treat them. The more advanced health problems are, the more time your body needs to correct them.

And now for Dr. Bobritskiy’s advice:

Tip: Make a small investment today in your health to avoid getting sick.

This is much easier to do than most people think. Let’s start with the basics. Begin with reconsidering your budget. Consider how much you might be spending on unhealthy habits (junk food; alcohol; cigarettes; video games; etc.). Now think about how you can start redirecting your money toward better health. Today, try to put only whole foods in your body (food found on the outside aisles of your grocery store such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains). Go out and get some good supplements. Some good places to look are Health Food Stores; Whole Foods; Trader Joe’s and farmer’s markets. The staff is usually qualified and knowledgeable about helping you choose the right supplement.

Think about investing in changing your lifestyle too. Join a gym with a friend or better yet, go out for a walk, jog, hike or bike ride. These activities will help you to shed pounds, bring your blood pressure down, and relieve your PMS symptoms, back pain, anxiety and depression. If you have children, they will also benefit by eating well and exercising. By removing sugar and food dyes from their diet and getting them out in the fresh air, you’ll begin to notice their behavior change for the better – more calm and able to focus on simple tasks longer. Good nutrition, improved circulation, and consequently increased level of oxygen in their brain will bring balance and sanity back.

If this all sounds overwhelming and expensive, consider that in the long run, bad habits and being sick as a result of those bad habits, cost much, much more.

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area and need more professional support, Dr. Bobritskiy is available to help. His all natural proven techniques have helped many people overcome their health issues without the adverse side effects of mainstream medicine.
